Born on February 11th, 1992 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Taylor Daniel Lautner has shown he was destined for a successful life from a very young age. He began studying karate at the age of six, training at Fabiano's Karate School, and by the following year, he was already winning tournaments. He was soon invited to train with seven-time world karate champion Mike Chat and, when he was eight, he was asked to represent his country in the twelve years and under division in the World Karate Association where he proved himself by becoming the Junior World Forms and Weapons champion, winning three gold medals. He continued to flourish in the martial arts circuit; in 2003, at only eleven years old, he was ranked number one in the world for NASKA's Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapons, Traditional Weapons and Traditional Forms and and, by the age of twelve, he had three Junior World Championships under his "black belt".
However, in addition to his love for karate, Taylor was bitten by the acting bug when he was seven years old, after his martial arts instructor persuaded him to audition for a part in a Burger King advert in Los Angeles. Although he was unsuccessful, he enjoyed the experience so much that he told his parents he wanted to pursue a career in acting. Soon, he and his family were traveling back-and-forth from their home in Michigan to California so Taylor could audition for acting roles on a regular basis. When he was ten, with the frequent traveling and air fares starting to drain them out, his family made the hard decision to relocate to Los Angeles where Taylor would have the advantage of being able to audition on a full-time basis. Although it was a wrench to leave behind friends and family, the move gave him the added bonus of being able to compete on a more intense level in football and baseball.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Taylor has booked roles on "My Wife and Kids" (2001), "Summerland" (2004), "The Bernie Mac Show" (2001), and the The Nick & Jessica Variety Hour (2004) (TV). In addition to television, Taylor has been very successful in the voice over work. Taylor has booked a recurring role as Youngblood on the cartoon "Danny Phantom" (2004) as well as he has recording two episodes of "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" (2002) and 'Charlie Brown'. Taylor has also booked a series regular of a pilot presentation called Which Way Is Up? (1977) along with the voice of Silas in an animation series entitled 'Silas and Brittany'.
His big break came in 2005 when, at the age of thirteen, Taylor won the role of Shark Boy in the Robert Rodriguez film The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D (2005). He spent three months on location in Austin, Texas filming, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Within months, he then successfully auditioned to play Eliot, the son of the Bakers' rival, in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005).
In his spare time, Taylor loves playing football and baseball, both sports which he is very strong in. In football, he running back on offense and middle line backer on defense and, in baseball, he takes part in the Hart Baseball Program where he is positioned at center field and second base. He also participates in the LA Hip Kids, a hip-hop dance group. Taylor also enjoys making home movies with his friends, including 'Sharkboy and Lava Girl' co-star Taylor Dooley, who lives near his Los Angeles home.
Although, he wants to continue acting into adulthood, he wouldn't mind becoming a film scriptwriter and director. Certainly, this is one young boy who is bound to do well in whatever he sets his mind to!

Jacob Black is of the Quileute Tribe of Native Americans in La Push, Washington. His father is Billy Black. His tribe is descended from wolves, and whenever there are vampires around their land, the younger men of the Quileute tribe begin phasing into ver large wolves to defend their land and their people. Jacob feels strongly for Bella Swan, who is dating one of the friendly vampires that live near the Quileute reservation. He believes he's in love with her, and fights for her and protects her without end, but as he finds out (in the last book of the saga) he is meant to "imprint" (something that happens to the men who turn into wolves in that tribe: they fall hopelessly in love with one person only, no matter the age. If that person is young, then the man cares for her, basically being her guardian until she is of dating age, when they then become soul mates) on Bella and Edward's child, Renesmee.

Chaske (pronounced Chess-Kay) Spencer was born in Oklahoma. He lived through his childhood in Montana, Kooskia (pronounced Kooskie), Idaho, Lapwai and Lewiston Idaho. (Lapwai and Lewiston are 20 min apart) He has two younger sisters. His mom is a teacher at a local Alternative High School, and his father is a Counselor at another High School. He graduated from Clearwater Valley High School (in Kooskia). He acted as a kid/young teen at the Lewiston Civic Theater. He went to college at Lewis Clark State College for a year before dropping out to pursue his acting career. He struggled doing odd jobs and taking lessons from coaches like David Gideon and Ed Kovens. Then he got a role in the 2002 in the film "Skins", which then lead to "Dreamkeeper", and "Into the West". He's 34, He's single, and a Pisces. His heritage includes Sioux, Nez Perce, Cherokee, Creek, French, and Dutch.

Sam Uley is one of the Quileute Native Americans on the La Push reservation, near the small town of Forks. Though in Twilight, Sam has merely a cameo role, he becomes one of the main characters in the sequel, New Moon.
Sam is the pack leader of the werewolf pack in La Push. He is the 'alpha' dog, so to speak, and the rest of the pack physically cannot disobey him. Bella gets dragged into the packs' dealings when her close friend, Jacob, becomes a pack member.
Sam's girlfriend, Emily, is the love of his life. She is, however, disfigured because of an incident where Sam accidently phased into a werewolf, harming her. Their love survived the obsticle, however, and they plan to get married soon.

In general Paul has no hard feelings towards Bella or Jacob but he strongly believes in the pack first. In Breaking Dawn we find that Paul has imprinted on Jacob’s older sister, Rachel. This is to the annoyance of Billy and Jacob as Paul eats them house and home, yet, Billy is happy that Rachel is staying at home longer from school because of Paul.

Embry Call
Call is a close friend of Jacob Black throughout most of the Twilight Saga. As a werewolf he has gray fur with dark spots along his back. He is one of Jacob's "wingmen" and offers his whole support in favor of Jacob. It is Embry that calls Bella Swan the nickname "vampire girl" due to her dealings and time spent with the Cullen family. Embry's mom was of the Makah tribe, not the Quileutes. To be a werewolf the traits had to be inherited from father of the Quileute tribe-this caused people to realize he was the half-brother of either Quil Ateara, Jacob Black, or Sam Uley. This immediate revelation after Embry's turning into a werewolf caused stress within the pack since all boys' fathers were married before and at the time of Embry's birth. We never find out who his father is.

Jared is a member of Jacob's werewolf pack. He was the next werewolf to phase after the pack's physical leader, Sam Uley. Of only five werewolves know to the Twilight readers the imprint, Jared is one of them. After first phasing he imprinted on Kim, a girl he sat next to in one of his classes. Kim before the imprinting had already had a massive crush on Jared and before he was a werewolf he never paid any attention to her. After his transformation, he took one look at Kim and he had imprinted. As a werewolf Jared has brown hair, is gigantic, and is one of the swiftest werewolves. Jared was a part of the battle with Victoria's army of young vampires but was not seriously hurt. It was Jared that had the task of trying to convice Jacob, Seth, and Leah to come back into Sam's pack after Jacob left in Breaking Dawn when Sam ordered an attack on the Cullen family.
